Must Haves: * 7 + years' experience in Database Administration (60% to 70%) * 7+ years' development experience (30% to 40%) in SQL Server 2012, SQL 2008 R2 * Preferable if SQL 2016 but not mandatory. * Expertise in DBA in a Production environment with the ability to perform server configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting and fine-tuning databases. * Experienced in Server Disaster Recovery. * SQL Server Migration from 2008 to 2012 and/or 2016. * Experienced in ETL process using SSIS, DTS and other application tools across different databases like Oracle, MS access and flat files. * Developed reports using SQL 2005 Reporting Services (SSRS) * DBA specific skills such as Performance Tuning, Query Optimization etc. Additional Requirements: * Analytical and able to articulate resolutions for issues identified. * Ability to influence internal IT team towards adopting solutions. * Troubleshoot issues occurring during non-work hours and provide stability to the PROD. environment. * Expert in Creating, Configuring and Fine-tuning ETL workflows designed MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). * Expert in building SSIS package to transform data from sources like file, MS SQL, Oracle, SharePoint etc. * Expert in High Availability and disaster recovery models like LogShipping, Database Mirroring, Replication * Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Client/Server Connectivity, Database Consistency Checks using DBCC Utilities. * Transformed complex business logic into Database design and maintaining it by using SQL tools such as Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, Triggers and Views. * Hands on experience in migrating databases on MS SQL Servers, as recent as SQL Server 2016. * Highly proficient in working with users to gather requirements, analyze them, and subsequently use design tools to model the requirements. * Extensively used performance monitor/SQL profiler to solve dead locks/long running queries after debugging. * Experienced in Database Installation, Configuration, Maintenance, Monitoring, Backup and Disaster Recovery procedure and Replication. * Experience in Database administration activities for DB Security (creating users, roles, and assigning permission to them) * Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Client/Server Connectivity * Experience in Database Backup, Recovery and Disaster Recovery procedures * Expert in extracting and transforming data between homogenous and heterogeneous systems using Dynamic DTS Packages, BCP and XML Technologies * Experience in MS Analysis Services 2000, Multidimensional Cubes, star schema and snowflake schema modeling Thanks Nikhil Prasad [email protected] 201-620-9700*130 Apetan Consulting LLC -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "project managment" group.
