Please send me your available candidates resume on arjun.s...@savvytech.us Role: Business Analyst Duration: 11 (Months) Location: Austin TX 78701 *** Local Candidates Only *** Texas *** Must have Experience: · Request for Offer (RFO) · Statement of Work (SOW) · Financial / Banking / Insurance Domain Job Description: The Texas Workforce Commission’s (TWC) current strategy is to replace major custom-developed systems for Unemployment Insurance (UI), Workforce (WF), and Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) with products that can be customized or configured. TWC requires solid market research as an input to system requirements, preparation for competitive procurements, and budgeting information. The Workers will participate in the Plan Procurements for Long-Term Solutions project, which will gather and document business, technical, information security, Electronic and Information Resources (EIR) accessibility, and other requirements that form the basis for the TWC’s future UI, WF, and VR Information Technology (IT) solutions. Solutions to be addressed include: • UI Systems for Benefits, Tax, and Appeals; • Workforce Systems for Job Matching, Case Management, and Adult Education and Literacy (AEL); • Vocational Rehabilitation Systems; • Labor Market and Career Information (LMCI) systems available. Project assignments will include documenting detailed system requirements approved by the TWC programs and creating a Request for Information (RFI) to obtain information on existing products and their related costs. The Workers will analyze vendor responses and update system requirements as needed. The Workers will perform those activities necessary to explore “buy or build” options, while considering data integration requirements for each potential solution. Workers also will develop information for future Request for Offer (RFO) and/or Statement of Work (SOW) documents. Requirements Minimum Skills Requirement in years Years Skills/Experience 5 Experience serving as a Business Analyst with projects that have successfully implemented information technology solutions. 5 Experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user and stakeholder needs. 5 Experience facilitating and documenting business process mapping and business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems that make a business more effective. 5 Experience documenting detailed requirements for information technology solutions that will meet program and user needs. 4 Experience preparing solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, Buy versus Build, etc. 3 Experience writing Request for Information, Request for Offer (RFO) and Statement of Work (SOW) documents. 3 Experience simultaneously collecting requirements across multiple program areas or organizations that are geographically dispersed and that have varying business needs. Preferred skill requirements in years Years Skills/Experience 2 Experience supporting Workforce, Unemployment Insurance and/or Vocational Rehabilitation information technology solutions and/or participating as a member of project(s) that implemented same. 2 Experience documenting EIR accessibility requirements and working on projects that implemented solutions which were tested for and adhered to those standards and specifications. 2 Experience working as a Test Lead for an IT implementation project. 2 Experience presenting to program and IT management, project Sponsors, and executive leadership. 1 Training in and/or experience utilizing Rapid Process Improvement (RPI) techniques as an approach to solve business problems.
