Role: SQL BI/Data Warehouse Developer Keys: STRONG SSIS and T-SQL Location: Perimeter area, ATL, GA(30348) Duration: 3-6 Month CT Mode of interview: Phone then Onsite USC/GC/EAD Only The Data Warehouse Developer has the overall responsibility for assessing requirements, creating a development plan and delivery of data warehouse initiatives across all business units. The qualified candidate will participate in the systems development life cycle for new development, enhancements and maintenance projects in a Data Warehouse/Data Analytics environment. As a member of the Delivery Management team, the candidate will work with project teams to design, develop and deploy ETL software needed to support a variety of business needs. Primary Responsibilities • Research, evaluate, identify alternative approaches, recommend, design and code efficient and effective solutions for challenging problems ranging from small to large work efforts for low to moderate complexity problems • Comply with standards and guidelines related to the design, construction, testing and deployment activities within the Delivery Management environments • Demonstrate collaborative skills working within a project team of diverse skills and will bring communication skills including oral, written and presentation skills, creativity, and problem solving skills to a challenging environment • Support development, QA, and production support teams in SDLC and operational activities • Identify opportunities in business processes, system capabilities and delivery methodologies for continuous improvement with an emphasis on DevOps • Provide guidance and direction to less-seasoned staff Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a technical area of study; OR equivalent professional experience • 7+ years Professional IT/Business related experience • 2+ years SQL Server Database administration experience(Needs some understanding) • 5+ years of SQL development experience (developing procedures, functions, SQL queries, etc.) • 4+ years of ETL development experience with SSIS highly preferred • 4+ years of experience troubleshooting within a Data Warehouse environment • Self-starter with abundance of energy to accomplish complex tasks is a short amount of time • Experience with multiple programming languages (PowerShell scripting, C#, others) Preferred Qualifications • Professional verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical and technical aptitude, able to think critically and objectively about process improvement, with emphasis on process automation and streamlining • Microsoft Technology Stack (SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) • An understanding of a variety of modeling and/or diagramming techniques, with the ability to create process flow diagrams and the ability read data flow and entity relationship models • Auto Insurance industry knowledge • Knowledge of data warehouse design -- Thanks Nikhil Prasad [email protected] 201-620-9700*130 Apetan Consulting LLC -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "project managment" group.
