Job Title: iSeries/AS400 Developer Location: Rochester, MN Duration: Long-Term Contract Max. Rate: $40-45/hr. on C2C Client have a requirement for several iSeries/AS400, RPG, SQL (RPG Free is a huge plus) developers RPG programming language – Must be expert ILE and free form experience required DDS Subfiles SQL – Must be expert Command language – Must have. Will probably come by default with mastery of RPG and SQL Operations vendor support – Very nice to have. Depends on iSeries system knowledge. Typically requires systems engineering experience. Other system maintenance and support as assigned Must have experience with -Rational Developer for Power -Job scheduling -Version control -Code migration from development to test and production -Change management practices New clarification: Aldon change management experience Highly DESIRED SQL/Embedded SQL on the iSeries. Serious SQL skills are needed because their data is so scattered. Some working knowledge of Microsoft TFS would also be helpful.
