VERY URGENT AND IMMEDIATE NEED Job Title: C ++ Developer Location: Aurora, IL Duration: 06+ Months Contract *Candidate Responsibilities* *Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: * • Develop cloud based applications including server and client side using REST API's • Develop embedded applications • Operate and test software on Caterpillar earthmoving equipment • Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boarding • Execute in a fast pace delivery mode and focus on delivering tasks to meet the product release goal through Agile methodology • Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation • Design software for enterprise scalability • Write code that meets industry standards and delivers the desired functionality • Assess application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices • Be an expert in core data structures as well as algorithms and have the ability to implement them using language of choice (see Preferred Skills in Critical Technical Skills) *Position's Contributions to Work Group* Caterpillar is the world leader in construction and mining equipment, delivering industry leading software enabled products and solutions that transform the way its customers connect and interact with its mobile equipment.
