Job Title: Business Analysts
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: 06+ Months Contract
Need Business Analyst with *Insurance Domain experience is must*
a. Augment its Business Analyst capacity to handle projects
anticipated in the design and development of *Policy Administration System
(PAS)* Phase 1 & 2,
b. *Quote Management System (QMS)* and Price Now initiatives.
c. b. Document the business and technical requirements necessary for
IT to develop and deploy a high quality, functional product by working with
Subject Matter Experts
d. c. Work in a team to create UAT plans, UAT test scripts and oversee
execution
e. d. Consultant will also be expected to advise State Fund BAs on
best practices and review work product with an eye on improving knowledge,
skills and quality.
*The candidate will:*
• Report to the Business Analyst Resource Manager as the owner
of the SOW to receive feedback, direction, and general administration of
their SOW.
• Report to Corporate Underwriting management and appropriate
team members for day to day direction of the assignment
• Participate in change management meetings, sharing
information and assisting with communication to impacted stakeholders
*Demonstrable Skills*
*The Consultant resource(s) shall possess the following skills*
• Minimum five years of experience as a business analyst
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze
information and identify and formulate solutions to problems
• Strong knowledge in project management practices and ability
to document processes and procedures as needed
• Extensive knowledge of and proven experience in the Business
Analyst Areas of Knowledge
• Convey and explain complex problems and solutions in an
understandable language to both technical and non-technical persons
• Think creatively and critically, analyzing complex problems,
prioritizing information, and taking into consideration project scope and
available resources
• Knowledge of the workers’ compensation insurance industry and
underwriting process is a plus
*Key Deliverables:*
• Complete current business analyst assignments as assigned
under the direction of Corporate Underwriting.
• Business Analyst will transfer knowledge to State Fund BAs
for assigned projects to include:
1. Clear understanding of all BA aspects of projects
2. UAT Planning and coordination
3. Creation of Business Requirement Documents/Change Requests
4. DTS review and revisions
