Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. *ROLE DETAILS* *ROLE NAME:* *ETL TESTER (2 POSITIONS)* *LOCATION:* *GLENDALE, CA* Duration: 12+ Months Contract Start Date: ASAP Mode of Interview: Phone and face to face *DESCRIPTION : * ETL Tester (2 openings) *RESPONSIBILITIES:* The ETL Tester will be responsible for participating in all test activities. · Responsible for on time testing deliverables. · Support system test execution in development, test, and production environments for each build, and release in the development lifecycle. · Support the design and development of a test strategy to perform environment and system integration validation. · Collaborate with test team to complete testing activities and provide test status to QA manager. · Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources. *EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE*: · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. · 6+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role. · Experience leading and coordinating the work of small to mid-size teams · Solid experience in DWH/ETL testing. · Strong knowledge of DWH/ETL concepts · Strong experience in SSRS and Tableau report testing. · Strong SQL skills. · Strong interpersonal skills. · Strong experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies · Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. · Strong Analytical skills with proven ability to troubleshoot systems-related issues. · Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and jobs to meet deadlines. · Adaptable and flexible dealing with change. · Strong capacity for operating in a flexible, dynamic environment where creative thinking is required. *SKILL MATRIX* 6+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role Experience leading and coordinating the work of small to mid-size teams Experience in DWH/ETL testing.
