*Description:* looking for a Senior API developer in NY with experience delivering microservices and modelling data in JSON for storage and transport. The resource will work closely with the team located across multiple regions to implement Apigee, design RESTful services that provide secure access to HR data from various cloud-based and on-premise systems, model data in JSON and work with NoSQL databases. Candidates must meet the following requirements: Have a strong foundation in RESTful design practices Strong expertise in in Java to develop services, implement custom integrations and service callouts Strong familiarity with the Open API Specification Have prior experience working with an API management platform, Apigee preferred Have prior experience modelling data in JSON. Experience with MongoDB a plus.
