POSITION: TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER LOCATION: LOS ANGELES, CA
DURATION: 1 YEAR RATE: $50 NO. OF POSITIONS: 2 *Project Overview*: Assignment is to support the book teams with business as usual work and an upcoming vendor implementation as part of the book optimization project *Tasks/Responsibilities:* - Responsible for multiple competing projects within the Capital Group enterprise. Project types include process, technology, change, requirements discovery, and business operations - Coordinate all aspects of projects, with emphasis on planning, scheduling, communications, production and documentation - Contribute to maintenance of automation platform using Excel and SQL - Lead business testing activities - Lead Agile ceremonies as needed - Contribute to the department’s business as usual tasks: transparency bundling, TATTOO reports, and Intranet authoring *Requirements:* - Strong practical knowledge of Project Management fundamentals required. Agile or PMP certification is valued, but not required. - Excellent MS Office for Windows and SQL skills are required - MS Project, JIRA, Seismic, and Visio knowledge desired - Excellent organization and communication (written and verbal) skills required - Excellent ability to work with ambiguity, ability to multi-task and excellent follow through. Continuous Improvement mindset - Requires at least 4+ years of experience - Role located in Los Angeles, but must have the ability to travel to Irvine, CA occasionally for training & Agile Ceremonies *Notes:* - Must have SQL experience highlighted in resume - Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines and projects - Excellent communication, organization and time management skills - Demonstrated success as a Project Manager with emphasis on planning, scheduling and communication to keep project going forward. - Agile experience - 4-7 years of experience - we are not looking for a senior level individual - Must be comfortable working with an all female team *IMPORTANT:* This is a staff aug role that we are filling for Capital Group. It is extremely important for candidates to know they will be working onsite at CG, taking direction from CG Delivery Lead, and will be embedded in the CG team.
