Must be Senior Level *Summary Statement* Achieves a service-focused culture with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality solutions to internal and external customers. Creates test strategy, test plan and test cases based on documented requirements. Manages defect reporting ensuring test results align with defined requirements. *Essential Tasks/Major Duties* - Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles. - Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in IT systems and projects across the organization. - Establish QA standards for software development, application integration, and information system performance, and corresponding documentation. - Create and execute test plans and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications. - Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues. - Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods. - Coordination of test activities and how tests are applied in complex and diverse environments (Test, Pre-Production, Production) - Ability to execute Quality Assurance activities in an Agile environment - Ability to provide feedback and directions with developers as code is developed to support the recommended solutions - Collaborate with project team to plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates. - Conduct regression, systems integration and user acceptance testing according to quality assurance guidelines. *Knowledge, Skills & Abilities* - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. - 8 years progressive quality assurance experience supporting medium to large size projects. - Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft TFS/VSTS - Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams. - Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. - Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies. - Extensive experience with core software applications, including Microsoft web and client/server applications. - Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts. -- *The common question that gets asked in business is, 'why?'
