Ideal candidate: Experience in providing Basis support for SAP Enterprise portal , Netweaver Java and HANA systems in very Large SAP environments. Strong troubleshooting skills in technologies Netweaver , HANA, Oracle , and Linux *Key Accountabilities* · Manages SAP environments including configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment. · Resolves SAP transport and source code problems. · Evaluates and designs interfaces between SAP and external systems, maintains SAP Data Dictionary and database objects, and manages the migration of SAP database and application configuration into production as well as analyzes, develops, and maintains data architectures and process models within SAP. · Documents and updates the existing SAP environment. · Analyzes situations and provides problem resolution. · Implements and maintains the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, training and production). · Maintains the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly. · Introduces technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance. · Designs and implements an optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability. · Installs and configures all required SAP database servers and application servers. · Manages System security , security patching and security hardening of systems · Configures and manages the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances. · Maintains SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies. · Monitors all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.). · Administers the HANA database. · Liason with vendor for creating incidents and escalation of issues/problems *Required and Preferred Skills and Experience* · Experienced level, typically 5-7 years of experience. · Requires a strong understanding of discipline. · Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations. · Makes decisions within broad parameters. · Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience. *The common question that gets asked in business is, 'why?'
