Hope you are doing well...!!!! *Job Title:* *Sr SQL DBA* Location: *Waverly, IA* Duration: *Long Term* Experience Level: 7+ Years *Job Description:* · Should have at least 6 to 7 years of experience as MS DBA · Provide 2nd and 3rd level support services, addressing related incidents and service requests · Developing & maintaining technical documentation is a must in this position! · Replication support, Database Encryption knowledge, providing database tuning and monitoring database security, performance and utilization. · Perform the process of database security in compliance with the company’s policy, provide physical model recommendations and provide escalation support for the production database. · DBA has to work in coordination with developers in order to meet the needs and specifications of the project and document all the procedures in a concise manner. · DBA should be well conversant with SQL Server 2008R2/2012/2014/2016 administration. DBA experience in an operations environment and experience in supporting live production databases as well as experience in SQL Server 2008R2/2012/2014/2016 in Analysis/Integration/Reporting Services. · Work with the Strategic IT organization to design and develop capacity planning of the database infrastructure, and Monitor, maintain database systems and resolve problems that may arise. · Maintain data integrity and security (manage roles and permissions of database users). · Use tools like SQL Profiler for database tuning.
