*Job Description:*

In this role you will learn how Red Hat ships its products and how the
software delivery pipeline is built and structured. You’ll join a team
whose main responsibility is maintaining DevOps’s software delivery
pipeline, with a focus on automation and/or tooling.  Your work will
directly contribute to the pipeline's robustness, efficiency, and
scalability.

You’ll work with high-end technologies, modern software delivery approaches
and a talented international team. On top of that you’ll be given unlimited
opportunities how to make an impact in a global company built on
open-source values and principles.
Primary Job Responsibilities

·         Identify and resolve issues with the release pipeline

·         Effectively communicate issues to stakeholders and team members
to ensure proper visibility and resolution

·         Software development to resolve issues for release pipeline
services

·         Create and maintain tools to support and enhance release pipeline
services and teams

·         Post-incident reviews

*Execute full software development life cycle*

·         Identify workflows that could benefit from automation

·         Scope incoming requests and design solutions

·         Produce well-designed, testable, and maintainable software

·         Design user scenarios, test cases, and write automated tests

·         Establish and maintain the continuous integration (CI) and
continuous delivery (CD) testing environments

·         Perform Root Cause Analysis

·         Document and maintain software functionality

*Technical leadership*

·         Coach and mentor less experienced colleagues

·         Provide code and peer reviews

·         Improve team processes


* Primary Skill 1 (Must have skill): **Python (Python 3),* *Linux (RHEL,
CentOS, Fedora), version control systems (Git)*

*Skill2 (Should have skill): **Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Fedora), version
control systems (Git)*

Required Skills

·         Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Fedora)

·         Strong knowledge and experience with reporting and monitoring
systems

·         Strong knowledge of and experience with Python (Python 3)

·         Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git)

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills in English,
ability to communicate effectively in a global team

·         Ability to multi-task

·         Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment, willing
to learn on your own
Nice-to-have Skills

·         Experience in software development methodologies

·         Experience in software QA methodologies, tools and processes

·         Experience with Linux containers

·         Experience with IT Automation Tools (Ansible)

·         Experience with the software release process and architecture of
delivery pipelines
