*Role : **Lead AWS Cloud Consultant* *Location : **Irvine - CA ( Remote )* *Visa : NO H1 Transfers* *Job Roles / Responsibilities: * *• Baseline application and infrastructure discovery questionnaire in context to customer engagement• Work with vendors to deploy / install discovery tools where required; assist in troubleshooting issues• Liaise with client stakeholders, drive discovery meetings & discussions to gauge pain points & understand expectations• Respond to customer queries in a timely manner and work with customers to agree on assumptions to be made when required data is not available• Provide inputs to cloud value manager and analyst for application cloud suitability analysis• Work with architects and technical experts to develop app-specific transformation recommendations in line with client requirements and expectations• Work with appropriate client stakeholders in understanding the current financials pertaining to application hosting and build business cases for a cloud-hosted future state• Collaborate with architects and SMEs in the proposal of migration timelines, tools to be used, migration waves and application grouping• Research on & collaborate with cloud vendors and application providers regarding their offerings and recommend appropriate services to the client as part of the transformation solution• Develop/assist in the development of reusable tools aimed at process improvements, effort estimate optimization, TCO estimation, etc.• Drive discussions with AWS for review and validation of MAP deliverables• Assist in RFP responses for potential clients by tailoring resource loading estimates, timely provision of inputs, details, documentation and presentations regarding capabilities, assessment & analysis processes, etc.• Assist in the pre-sales process by conducting client presentations on the Cognizant assessment & analysis methodology & processesSkills Required:• Must have knowledge of AWS cloud economics• Must have ability to perform gap analysis, cash flow analysis, TCO analysis, business case analysis• Must have understanding of on-premises hosting v/s cloud hosting• Must have understanding of cloud IaaS and PaaS• Must have understanding of cloud migration and app modernization• Must have strong analytical skills and be comfortable with spreadsheet analysis• Must have ability to think laterally in order to come up with effective and cost-efficient solutions• Must have ability to create professional quality, client-facing presentations• Must have strong communication and presentation skills• Must have prior experience in client-facing consulting / delivery roles• Must be self-driven and possess good learnability• Nice to have familiarity with VBA script• Nice to have understanding of cloud transformation - microservices / serverless rearchitecture, app containerization, SaaS transformation• Nice to have prior experience in assessments / cloud assessments / AWS Migration Accelerator Program• Nice to have AWS / Azure / GCP Cloud Certification* *Thanks & Regards* *Mohd Azhar Uddin* *Tel: 703-831-8282 Ext. 2526 / (M) (315) 543-4232* *Email: [email protected] <[email protected]> * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "project managment" group.
