*Role : DevOps Engineer* *Location : Chicago- IL* *Rate : $50-55/HR on c2c * *Visa : NO H1 Transfers* *Job Roles / Responsibilities: * • The DevOps Database Engineer will continuously enhance the automation of database deployments and maintenance for the Client infrastructure • Work closely with various stakeholders to understand their needs for databases • Given that understanding, you will make recommendations and provide self-service offerings that enable stakeholders to deploy, monitor and maintain the right databases for their needs • Develop systems to further automate the deployment and maintenance of database services • Enhance automated functions including, monitoring, backup, recovery, high availability, user management, access control and audit logging • Add automated tests for every function on a continuous delivery (CI/CD) platform • Collaborate with stakeholders to further understand their needs for databases, make recommendations and ultimately deploy solutions in the form of the databases and their orchestration *Qualifications* • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • 2-4 years’ experience in database engineering • 3 years’ experience of DevOps experience • Experience with databases including SQL/DB2/Oracle/MS SQL • Experience with software development, automation, infrastructure as code, and data-driven analysis • Experience with configuration management tools • Familiar with standard tools and platforms that enable continuous delivery such as GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, JIRA • Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting competency • Strong tendency to automate and monitor everything • Excellent communication skills • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment • Self-motivated & willing to learn *Thanks & Regards* *Mohd Azhar Uddin* *Tel: 703-831-8282 Ext. 2526 / (M) (315) 543-4232* *Email: [email protected] <[email protected]> * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "project managment" group.
