*Role : SQL Server DBA* *Location : Jersey City - NJ Onsite from Day 1* *Visa : NO H1 Transfers* *Job Roles / Responsibilities: * (Maintenance, Security, Upgrades, Performance Tuning, etc.) • Installing, Configuring and Upgrading SQL Server/Applying Service Packs • Hands on experience on Log shipping, SQL Server Replication troubleshooting replication issues with in SLA, experience in configuring Database mirroring and trouble shooting the issues and hands on experience in Always On high availability and troubleshooting the Required Skills Technical Skills- ,SQL Server DB Administration Domain Skills- Technology Multi_Cloud PG *Roles & Responsibilities •* Database Administration for the SQL Server 2008R2 to SQL Server 2019 (Maintenance, Security, Upgrades, Performance Tuning, etc.) • Installing, Configuring and Upgrading SQL Server/Applying Service Packs • Hands on experience on Log shipping, SQL Server Replication troubleshooting replication issues with in SLA, experience in configuring Database mirroring and troubleshooting the issues and hands on experience in Always On high availability and troubleshooting the issues. • Hands on experience in installing SQL server standalone and Failover Clustering and troubleshooting. • Extensive experience in designing and handling Disaster recovery/high availability. • Good Knowledge and work experience in TDE and Column level encryption • Should have experience with using Trace flags / Profiler to solve Dead Locks/Long running queries. • Data Transformation and Loading, Experience with SSIS and SSRS troubleshooting • Experience in Plan growth and changes (capacity planning) • Experience in ITIL process in handling CR’s, incidents and service requests. • Work experience/ Knowledge on Power shell command utilities. • Creating Users and assign permissions based on the level of database access the user would need • Creating Linked Servers to SQL Servers and other databases such as, Access, Informix etc. • Database restores from PROD to non-PROD • Contribution in Optimizing SQL server databases and environment as per the need and environment • Troubleshooting various issues & problems that arise in a day-to-day work • Monitoring and Performance tuning Physical Server Level, Database level (Database settings and options) and query tuning. • Documenting major changes to the SQL Servers. • Performing Health Check • Applying Service Packs Should have good understanding of the MS SQL, related utilities and tools • Identification- Use native tools like Profiler, Perfmon, system stored procedures, dynamic management views, custom stored process *Thanks & Regards* *Mohd Azhar Uddin* *Tel: 703-831-8282 Ext. 2526 / (M) (315) 543-4232* *Email: [email protected] <[email protected]> * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "project managment" group.
