Job Title: Program Manager – Analytics Operations *Location**:* *100% Remote* *Duration**:* Long Term Contract *Job description* *PRIMARY FUNCTION*: The Manager will coordinate analytics operations and program development enterprise wide. The primary function is to develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures relating to analytics program life-cycle management and business process integration. This position will be a key enabler of Jefferson’s vision to make health, health education, and discovery smarter to create unparalleled value and to be the most trusted healthcare partner. Our mission is the delivery of actionable insights to the right person, at the right time, in the right context. The successful candidate will be responsible for operationalizing analytics products and driving analytical maturity throughout Jefferson. The role requires partnering with the Directors of Business Intelligence, Quality & Safety Analytics, Data Science, and EDW to deliver projects and manage operations including data engineering, business intelligence and visualization, and health data sciences. This role ensures the effective operations of the Enterprise Analytics team and compliance with project timelines and scope across the Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* - Responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring operational processes and policies within the Enterprise Analytics department so that they are in alignment with the design & vision of the Enterprise Analytics leadership team. - Manage the day-to-day operations of data analytics projects, including resource allocation, team coordination, and communications with clients or stakeholders - Responsible for change management and change control of operational processes and policies - Coordinate Monthly/Quarterly Center of Excellence Forums by creating schedules, finding speakers, arranging agenda, tracking attendance, etc… - Responsible for managing the team that educates and trains data governance contributors. - Coordinates with communications staff, data champions and data ambassadors to develop and implement communication plan. · Responsible for data literacy program, including the creation of education tools including coordination of educational workshops for Jefferson Health to teach better understanding of use of tools and data · Partners with Marketing and Communications to create communications and branding that follows the Enterprise Analytics guidelines. · Promotes the tools and products created by Enterprise Analytics across the Enterprise. - Tracks progress towards goals and program performance. · Responsible for recruitment and professional development of a team of high performing business associates. · Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the iSCORE values of Jefferson. *OTHER FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES:* - Trusted Partner – builds trusted relationships with business leaders and executives, collaborates across multi-functional teams, navigates organizational boundaries, and builds organization support to drive meaningful changes. - Strategic Thinker – aligns analytics initiatives with overall enterprise strategy. - Organization and Attention to Detail – gather, organize and document requirements and specifications for analytics initiatives; define agendas and meeting schedules for projects. - Influencer – strong interpersonal skills, ability to form and lead cross-functional collaboration efforts, and excellent written and communication skills. - Agility – ability to balance competing priorities, manage stakeholder expectations, and work under deadlines and pressure. - Self-motivated, eager to learn, critical thinker, adaptable, and demonstrates sound judgment. *_________________________________________________________________________* EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS*:* Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Sciences, Business, related quantitative fields (e.g., mathematics, statistics, informatics, economics, etc.) or other relevant field; Master’s Degree is a plus. *_________________________________________________________________________* CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION: *_________________________________________________________________________* EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS*:* 8+ years’ experience in related programs and/or data management function or combination of experience and education. 5+ years healthcare experience (experience in a large academic medical center is preferred, but not required). *________________________________________________________________________* *ADDITIONAL INFORMATION*: Strong understanding of processes and tools relating to data pragram life-cycle management and business process integration. Experience leveraging healthcare datasets (clinical, financial, claims, operational, demographic, consumer, social-media, and third-party data products (e.g., IMS, Wolters Kluwer, Press Ganey, Truven, Health Market Sciences etc.) to deliver clear value to business stakeholders. Functional understanding of operations and program management for data engineering, business intelligence, visualization, and data sciences. Demonstrated experience driving and leading enterprise-wide initiatives.
