*Key interfaces: *Squad Leader, Sales, SBU CAs, SBU pods, SBU Delivery,
Delivery SMEs and Sales Coaches for Squad, Alliance team, Solution Factory,
Pre-Sales
*Role Summary:* Cloud Architect expert working with Squad Leader on day
-to-day basis to drive proactive deal solutioning/ will act as Squad PoCs
for allocated deals, steer Lift & Shift Migration, development, and
enhancement of overall value proposition to ensure best in class offering.
In addition, the role involves driving joint solution migration, dev and
GTM coordination for strategic alliances and enabling talent mobilization,
early stage delivery setup/troubleshooting and governance for delivery
assurance (for supported deals)
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Lead Deal Solutioning in deals purist teams*
- Play the role of technical advisor to customers, provide guidance
about possible solution design, use cases and business value of technology.
- Own the presales and Solution design for large scale Cloud migration
opportunities
- Ability to work with customer and internal executive teams and build a
relationship of trust and thought leadership.
- Solution design for cloud migration in hybrid multi cloud environment
- Work with the related offerings and sales teams
(Modernization/Operate/Engineering) to build a cohesive solution seamless
for customer
- SOW preparation in the pursuit stage
- Participate in thought leadership exercises like
webinars/conferences/analysts meetings as needed
- *Contribute to* creation of *effective proposals*
- *Setup Solution Factory Team* to execute on *deal specific POCs, as
required*
- Support *effort estimation* exercise for new/complex deals
- Work closely with sales and alliance teams for solution development
- Squad members to help enhance Virtusa offering with the objective of
achieving market leadership
- Contribute to building of the Offering playbook including Virtusa's
story for the offering, different approach, and referenceable case studies.
- Work with vertical/domain SMEs to understand customer needs and build
vertical-specific approaches; enhance value proposition by incorporating
elements of best -in-class delivery
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop collateral, and promote offering
within outside Virtusa
- Provide *targeted support for talent mobilization* (interview,
internal SME identification), as required
- Provide support for early-stage *delivery setup/troubleshooting
support*
- Participate in *governance for delivery assurance for supported deals*,
as required
- *Strong communication* and *presentation skills* for cloud-based
solutions that are aligned to a clients business goals/drivers
*Key Skills & Experience Summary:*
- Architecting Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a
Service (PaaS) Implementation,
- Architecting Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a
Service (PaaS) Implementation,
- Architecting, design, and implementation of Azure Networking
Services: Virtual Network, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, VPN
Gateway, Azure DNS, Traffic Manager, Express Route.
- Azure Monitoring and Management solutions: Azure Analytics,
Application Insights, Automation, Backup, Site Recovery, Azure Monitor,
Automation and Control
- Securing Azure Resources and implementing Security in Azure:
Security Center, Key Vault, Azure Active Directory, Azure Active
Directory
B2C, Multi-factor Authentication
- Experience working with IDS,IPS and security Framework.
- Hands experience on implementing of firewall, forward proxy, reverse
proxy DNS,CDN.
- Analysis of the security state of all the resources in Azure.
Configuring and implementing Azure Security Center
- Controlling cloud security with policy-driven monitoring of
security configurations
- Disaster recovery and business continuity planning and
implementation
- Operation Management Suite (OMS) Log Analytics
- Analyze Azure existing cloud public cloud deployments to identify
gaps and propose recommendations to alleviate issues
- Conduct Azure Well Architect Review (WAR)
- Document WAR recommendations
- Design (high level and low level) Azure target state architecture
for production and lower environments, aligning with industry best
practices and standards relating to Azure WAR principles
- Design Azure landing zones
- Guide DevOps team in development and deployment of Infrastructure
as Code (IAC) pipelines, to automate deployment of
infrastructure platform
and services
- Present target state architecture at various forums – enterprise
architecture group, management.
- Leadership role, demonstrate proactive leadership in guiding team
in their efforts to deploy workloads to Azure public cloud.
