We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented *AI/ML Engineer* with strong *Python* expertise and proven experience in *AI Ops implementation*. This is a *contract position* based in *Phoenix, AZ*, with a *hybrid work schedule requiring 3 days a week onsite*. The ideal candidate will be local to the *Phoenix or surrounding area*, and possess a strong background in *machine learning automation*, *observability*, and *infrastructure intelligence solutions*. Key Responsibilities: · Lead the design and implementation of *AI Ops solutions* to improve IT operations through intelligent automation, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis. · Develop and optimize *ML models* that support predictive insights and operational efficiency for enterprise-scale systems. · Create and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and integrations using *Python*. · Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing monitoring and logging tools (e.g., *Prometheus*, *Grafana*, *Splunk*, *ELK Stack*). · Apply *LLM and NLP techniques* for log analysis, event correlation, and incident pattern recognition. · Utilize and fine-tune *RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)* and *Vector Search* frameworks as part of the broader AIOps strategy. · Contribute to building *automated self-healing systems* and workflows based on AI/ML model outputs. Required Skills: · 5+ years of experience in *Python development* for data engineering and machine learning applications. · Hands-on experience with *AI Ops frameworks* and tooling in an enterprise IT environment. · Solid understanding of *cloud platforms* (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native tools for data processing and automation. · Experience with *machine learning pipelines*, *feature engineering*, and *model deployment* in production environments. · Exposure to *LLM-based architectures*, *prompt engineering*, *RAG*, and *Vector databases* (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate). · Strong background in *log analytics*, *observability tools*, and *infrastructure telemetry*. · Experience working in *Agile/Scrum* environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
