Hello,

Just a little note, using AOL (AOL != Internet. Expensive, slow (what fucking
nightmare, 1 hour to download 10MB!, I never seen worse, even with RTC),
without a fucking SSH or connectivity sharing possibility (indeed, they do not
even use PPP, PPTP or PPPoE), my laptop without MS Windows (IBM 600E rules!
yes they no longer sell it) does not have a single chance to get connected, so
I use Horde IMP... Well it's definitely not gnus), to mention that I'm not
sure to be back at home before the 22th because we're probably going to spend
a week in "Ardèche" after "Talence" (part of Bordeaux), horse-riding (it will
remind me the old days when I was young, riding at "competition level", for
the best and for the worse) and "canoe" (can it be translated? My globbish
still needs to be improved) riding too.
Before this summer, our car was 36000 km old ; we're near
to reach 40 000 km (yes, it means giving money to the garage, changing tyres
and stuff). But don't be afraid, I pay attention to the tyres pressure, glass
cleaning and fucking "radars" (can it be translated?) (what a joke, when you
know that most car accident killing people are not taking place on the freeway
but on small roads). Ha, nothing is better than german "autobahn" with no
speed limit. No more accident than in France... more secure in the end, people
take care of what they do, they're not just focused on the police being there
or not.

It's a pity that I did not take time to release Savane 1.0.3. But I think I'll
have a chance to do it in Geneva (maybe after CERN changes inclusion). I plan
to get Treegrou publicly releasable at the same time - and running at Gna!
even with arch repos. After that, I'll have a
lot of university work to do (DEA... one year before PhD, arg!) ; I'll maybe
also give history courses just to make some money and get some experience in
that area.

Best regards from Talence!
For the fun, enjoy some typical holidays pictures, which one taken in Metz
will the (now buried) dream team!
