Hello xMule project administrators,

Someone (support #265) brought to our attention the fact that a part
of the xMule project hosted at Gna! seems to be licensed under
non-GPL compatible terms - maybe even non-free licensing terms.

The incriminated part is
<http://cvs.gna.org/viewcvs/xmule/xmule/xLibs/xPrefs/License.OSSAL?rev=1.1&content-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup>

Can you clarify the exact status of this code?

When you registered your project, you registered it as a GPL
project. Now, it looks like some files are licensed under the license
"OSSAL" (looking anti-GPL or almost, most probably non-free software),
and Creative Commons non-Commercial (non-free software). This
licensing scheme is explicitely disallowed when using the services we
provide and makes your project subject to deletion from our servers.

Considering the issue, we are looking forward an answer from you in
the next coming 7 days, before deciding of any course of action.

Regards,
