No. By experience with savannah, it would fastly overload the http server if we allow viewcvs content indexing. Maybe it would be convenient to have such indexing but the price is way to high (since tools like google follow the links, it means that all versions of each files in whatever format would be regularly open - - believe me, that's a lot of files).
