  Thanks ! Although sshd listens on 10.20.121.74:22 on petzi (just
checked), I got a 'Connection refused' while trying.

  It does not manage "hiccups" very well, like partial or empty backups.
I think this could be greatly improved by this "new" rsync feature:

  "Beginning in version 2.6.4, multiple --link-dest directories may be
provided, which will cause rsync to search the list in  the  order
specified"

  So rather passing the previous existing "ftp-<date>" to rsync I should
give it the whole history. Needs a few try but looks worth it.
