Thanks ! Although sshd listens on 10.20.121.74:22 on petzi (just checked), I got a 'Connection refused' while trying. > > And I don't forget to check the hard-linking brokenness in this backup > > once I have some time. > > Apparently it worked properly last night (I made the backup changes 1 > day ago): It does not manage "hiccups" very well, like partial or empty backups. I think this could be greatly improved by this "new" rsync feature: "Beginning in version 2.6.4, multiple --link-dest directories may be provided, which will cause rsync to search the list in the order specified" So rather passing the previous existing "ftp-<date>" to rsync I should give it the whole history. Needs a few try but looks worth it. _______________________________________________ Project mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/project
