My problem is that the noise is too high for me to handle. There are weeks when I don't hear from nagios at all. I could not dream for this to happen if I was subscribed to the root mail of hundreds of machines. Nagios misses things but it does not create any noise and I can react to what it signals daily. This is not a general rule, this is my own personal equilibrium ;-)
