I should have mentioned the 2nd one because I wrote it.
This is basically an approach to mimic a CSS "behavior" in IE (see
<http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/author/behaviors/reference/behaviors/anchor.asp>),
which allows invoking the system WebDAV client from a Web page. An IMHO
superior (and platform-indenpendant) approach is documented in
<ftp://ftp.isi.edu/internet-drafts/draft-reschke-webdav-mount-03.txt>.
