not specifically in xul, but in HTML, too often :)

I usually choose the basics of vcard as a starting point.
the full vcard specs are horrible, but being compatible makes sense

iso 3166-1

note, countries are 2 letter codes (iso 3166),
languages are 3 letters codes (iso 639)
