Bug #322513, which is fixed by Bug #282105, which is secured.
Though I don't know if it's relevant to my issues, now resolved by the
workaround of having the prefpanes in the same file, and scripts in the
panes rather than the window.
Bug #296418 is a more likely candidate, but I couldn't find an article
on devmo about any workaround.
