[Project_owners] XML entities in e4x

Hi,

What are the rules regarding entities with e4x? Are we supposed to translate 
them manually? This
code shows that FF 1.5.0.1 has some means for translating them but appears to 
be buggy:

  var b = "&\"<>><";
  var t = <fox><cat/></fox>;
  [EMAIL PROTECTED] = b;

t is now:
  <fox><cat name="&amp;&quot;&lt;>>&lt;"/></fox>

I would have expected t to be:
  <fox><cat name="&amp;&quot;&lt;&gt;&gt;&lt;"/></fox>
