This is a missing feature for long, recently introduced in Mozilla Firefox I'm told. It reduces the number of bytes that need to be transferred for updates, which saved time and money for both your customers *and* mozdev.org. The 'trick' is to patch the binary file(s) instead of replacing the whole/all file(s) over and over again, because you might just have changed a small number of bytes in it. /HJ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (MingW32) iD8DBQFFGIpvRrb6S73JMeYRAqgyAJ0flLUQ7vDkSR+p5rGi9GrWkPHAbwCgyReF B2+AurmkjqAKOUY/ImM3wpc= =K8Cp -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Project_owners mailing list [email protected] http://mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/project_owners
