This is a missing feature for long, recently introduced in Mozilla
Firefox I'm told.  It reduces the number of bytes that need to be
transferred for updates, which saved time and money for both your
customers *and* mozdev.org.

The 'trick' is to patch the binary file(s) instead of replacing the
whole/all file(s) over and over again, because you might just have
changed a small number of bytes in it.
