Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to retrieve current mouse coordinates without an event being thrown?
When an event is thrown, it is trivial because event object has clientX/clientY, however when the user is not touching the mouse and the cursor is just sitting there without any events, how do I figure out where the mouse cursor is? I am specifically interested in this information on the first load of the page, so not only the mouse events are not thrown now, they weren't thrown before, so I don't have any point of reference at all for where the mouse cursor is. I was trying to get the coordinates from the window, from selection, from nodes on the page, tried looking at XUL interfaces, so far nothing. Any ideas?
