On the tools front sqlitebrowser is useful.

Have a look at Sunbird or Lighting they must have solved the problem of
populating GUIs. I suspect SQL templates may have been pushed to
Mozilla 2.

Hi,
I need to go away again, in little over a week from now, but I will take
my notebook along to change all MultiZilla code that uses RDF to the
'new mozstorage' (new for me) but I was wondering about templates, trees
and such, because I use them a lot.
Has anyone here used mozstorage before?
Are there examples showing how to change my templates?
Will I have to change my trees (XUL/JS) code?
Here's a very simple example of a tree:
<tree id="uamTree" datasources="rdf:null"
ref="urn:useragent-data:root" flags="dont-build-content">
<treecols>
<treecol id="ShortNameColumn" label="Short Name" flex="3"
persist="width hidden"/>
<splitter class="tree-splitter"/>
<treecol id="UserAgentColumn" label="User Agent Identifiers"
flex="3" persist="width hidden"/>
</treecols>
<template>
<treechildren>
<treeitem>
<treerow>
<treecell
label="rdf:http://multizilla.mozdev.org/rdf#ShortName"/>
<treecell
label="rdf:http://multizilla.mozdev.org/rdf#UserAgent"/>
</treerow>
</treeitem>
</treechildren>
</template>
</tree>
How should I change this tree to work with mozstorage? How do I setup
the database for it? What tools do I need?
p.s. I won't be able to communicate with the outside world when I'm gone
so hopefully everything will be clear to me before I leave.
Thanks,
/HJ
