Hi Mohammad, You should request one compute node. This will minimize the communication cost between GPUs. Using GPUs across different compute nodes will have performance impacts and this effect is universally applicable.
The number of MPI tasks should not matter too much for DEME. You can try 1 or 2 to see if it makes a difference in your system. It should not and you can always fall back to 1 if this is the case.
