You need to provide more details about what you did. * Is this vehicle model created using Chrono::Vehicle? If so, using a TMeasy tire is straightforward (look at the various vehicle models provided with the Chrono distribution). * Or are you building a vehicle “from scratch”, defining the bodies, joints, and force elements manually? In this case, you can still use a tire model from Chrono::Vehicle, but you will have to create a “dummy” wheel object (since the Chrono::Vehicle tires assume they are attached to such an object). Look for inspiration to the implementation of the tire node<https://github.com/projectchrono/chrono/blob/main/src/chrono_vehicle/cosim/ChVehicleCosimTireNode.cpp> in the vehicle co-simulation code.
You also do not say if you are using Chrono through the C++ or Python interface, nor what version of the code you are working with. I strongly suggest you use the latest code in the Chrono git repository and, especially in the latter case above, do this in C++. I want to add the TMeasy tire model to this vehicle model to get realistic wheel-ground interaction. How can I use the TMeasy tire model? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ProjectChrono" group.
