Worlds:
Shakir: Say. Surely my prayer and my sacrifice and my life and
my death are (all) for Allah, the Lord of the worlds;
Sher Ali: Say, `My Prayer and my sacrifice and my life and my
death are all for ALLAH, the Lord of the worlds;
Khalifa: Say, "My Contact Prayers (Salat), my worship
practices, my life and my death, are all devoted absolutely to
GOD alone, the Lord of the universe.
Arberry: Say: 'My prayer, my ritual sacrifice, my living, my
dying -- all belongs to God, the Lord of all Being.
Palmer: Say, 'Verily, my prayers and my devotion and my life and
my death belong to God, the Lord of the worlds. Rodwell SAY: My
prayers and my worship and my life and my death are unto God,
Lord of the Worlds.
Sale: Say, verily my prayers, and my worship, and my life, and
my death [are dedicated] unto God, the Lord of all creatures:
Transliterated Arabic Qul inna salatee wanusukee wamahyaya
wamamatee lillahi rabbi alAAalameena

Pickthall: He hath no partner. This am I commanded, and I am
first of those who surrender (unto Him).
Yusuf: Ali No partner hath He: this am I commanded, and I am
the first of those who bow to His will.
Shakir: No associate has He; and this am I commanded, and I am
the first of those who submit.
Sher Ali: HE has no partner. And so I am commanded, and I am
the first of those who submit.'
Khalifa: "He has no partner. This is what I am commanded to
believe, and I am the first to submit."
Arberry: No associate has He. Even so I have been commanded,
and I am the first of those that surrender.'
Palmer: He has no partner; that is what I am bidden; for I am
first of those who are resigned.'
Rodwell: He hath no associate. This am I commanded, and I am
the first of the Muslims.
