Indonesia, State of World's Most Happy - Various problems, ranging from the 
economic crisis, natural disasters and war, it did not make the people of 
Indonesia to lose their happiness. According to a recent study by Ipsos Global, 
one of Indonesia is the happiest in the world.

Global Ipsos survey results, published in early February, was quoted by Time 
magazine, Thursday, March 1, 2012, focuses on the category of "happy" and "very 
happy." Involving 18 687 adult respondents from 24 countries of the world, 
Indonesia is in the top position in the category of countries are very happy.

Some 51 percent of residents said they were very happy Indonesia. Despite 
occupying the top spot, but the happiness of Indonesia compared to the previous 
Global Ipsos survey dropped by seven points. Drastic decline in the happiness 
experienced by Brazil which dropped 9 points and Russia is down six points.

Very happy country after Indonesia is India and Mexico by 43 percent, followed 
by Brazil and Turkey with 30 percent, Australia and the United States with 28 
percent. On the other hand, some countries are known to only a few residents 
who feel very happy. As Italy is the happiness of its citizens at the level of 
13 percent, Spain 11 percent, Hungary six percent, seven percent of South Korea 
and Russia eight percent.

Ipsos started tracking happiness in 24 countries from 2007, and in doing 2 
times a year. March 2010 survey done every month for the answer to the 
question: Are we happier today than ever before?

Overall, the world is a happy place. In 2007, 20 percent of the global 
population said they were very happy, and in 2011 rose to 22 percent. In March 
and April 2010 reached its highest point is 26 percent.

In measuring the category of very happy, the greatest improvement was found in 
Turkey, where the level of happiness of its citizens was up 16 points since 
2007. Then followed by Mexico with an increase to 10 points, Australia rose 7 
points, up 6 points, Japan, India and Canada each rose five points.
