They believed that Jesus Christ would deliver Israel from the domination of the Roman power. They thought that Jesus Christ was a political Messiah. So when He was killed on the cross,then all of their Messianic visions were destroyed. They were terribly puzzled and discouraged. The enemies of Jesus Christ were rejoicing because they thought that they had finally stopped the movement of heresy. They thought that Jesus Christ was a heretic, and they rejoicing. Their knowledge of Jesus Christ did not go beyond their immediate situation. Even JesusChrist was resurrected on the third day and ppeared to mny; the disciples were more puzzled. They didn’t know why Christ should be crucified on the cross and die. However on the Day of Pentecost, when the holy Spirit came down; the holy Spirit began to explain abaout jesus Christ. Before the Day of pentocost; even the disciples of jesus Christ did not know about the deth and resurrection of Jesus Christ, but suddenly they had new reveltion nd knowledge came through the mighty power of the Holy Spirit. They began to see the true relity of Jesus Chirst. It is very important to know Jesus Christ. It is very o\important to know Jesus in the right way. N many denominational churches the jesus that hey preach is quite different from the Jesus that know. They try o understand Jesus through philosophy and history, but only by the power of the holy Spirit can we truly know Jesus. When the disciples of Christ. He became sin, and a burnt offering for all humn beings so tat they could be eedmed from their sins. Before the holy Spirit came, the disciples thought that the death of Jesus Chirst was a tragic filure. When the holy Spirit came; they knew it was a tremendous victory. They began to rejoice because they knew that they were reedmed from their sins, and that they were righteous trough Jesus Christ. That was new and tremendsous relevation to them. That is tremendous reveltion to the people in heathen countries. For example, in kora, people re rised as Buddhists mostly, and in Buddhism, the only way to receive forgiveness is through penance by giving alms, and by works. They do not know how much to give how much work to do, and so this brings them continual worry, sacrifice and pain, but when the Holy Spirit comes and brings the knowledge of Jesus Christ to them; they are set free and forgiven, This is a veryrevolutionary teaching to the Koreans. Americans and Europeans have been brought up under traditional Christianity and so at least they understand the general meaning of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, but to the heathens this is a totally different doctrine. To the heathens, the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ and the forgiveness of sin by faith in Jesus Christ is a great revelation. This revelation was given to the disciples, and also they received a very fresh revelation that through the death of Jesus Christ, God reconciled Himself to human beings. It is one thing to be forgiven, but it is an entirely different thing to be reconciled. You remember when you raise children they can be punished, but you may not be reconciled to your children for a long time. Once, I was very angry at my first son, and I punished him, and so he packed up and left my home. Later, I forgave him, and he came back home, but I didn't have any fellowship with him. I didn't eat with him, nor would I talk with him. My wife came to me as a peaceinaker, and she said, “Since you forgave him, now you must be reconciled with him. Otherwise, why did you ask him to come and stay in our home?.” So, one day because of her mediation; we met together at the breakfast table, and we shook hands and we were reconciled. We had warm fellowship from that time on. So forgiveness and reconciliation are two different things. Jesus Christ became the sacrifice for reconciliation. We are not only forgiven, but we are reconciled to the heavenly Father, so that we can boldly come to Him. Many of the Christians here in Korea believe that they are forgiven by faith in Jesus Christ, but they are very shy and feel that they are not qualified to come to the heavenly Father. They are afraid to come to God because they feel that they are unworthy. But, when I told them that they were reconciled by the blood of Jesus Christ; the people rejoiced, and they were tremendously released from their feelings of unworthiness. They became free to worship God and to received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. As a sign of reconciliation; Ad put the Holy Spirit into your heart. Reconciliation draws you very close to the heavenly Father. You begin to see that reconciliation opens the door to healing in your life. It is very difficult to get people healed in America because they are Gospel hardened. Healings in Pakistan and Brazil are tremendous. I heard from Pakistanis in Brazil who attended Marilyn Hickey's meetings; that there were wonderful healings. Many blind eyes were opened, many cancer victims were healed, and so many miracles happened including the conversion of a muslim man. In Brazil, you can't even count the number of those who were healed. I asked for those who were healed to lift up their hands and wave, and they all lifted up their hands and waved. There was a tremendous release of the Holy Spirit‘s power to heal. In a Pentecostal Church, healing is the main factor in church growth. When you release God's healing power, not only the sick are helped but all the people receive benefit by hearing the message and then their hearts are healed. Let the people be inundated with healing power, let them be showered with the Lord's healing power. Their Spirit, soul and body can be healed. The early disciples had no doubt in the amazing healing power of God. In America, the prosperity Gospel wrecked havoc, because it went to an extreme and became destructive. Jesus Christ's life was a life of redemption. He also took away the curse of Adam and Eve. We are delivered from the curse of the law of death and sin by the blood of Jesus Christ. In Brazil, the chain of poverty, is terrible, and only Jesus Christ can redeem the people from the poverty and misery that they are suffering. I told the people that politically and socially it is impossible to be set free from desperate poverty, and that only Jesus Christ could set them free. Our country is going through an economic turbulence, but I know that the Lord will deliver us from this curse. I say, “Don't worry, look to Jesus.” He will deliver us and set us free. We need to get rid of the negative and all fatalistic thinking, then the Holy Spirit can reveal the positive, faith filled side of Jesus Christ. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was the final victory of Jesus christ. On the day of Pentocost they were completely transformed in their thinking. They were renewed. The holy of holies curtain was rent in two. When you are born again; your mind needs to be redeemed.the curtain must be removed in your mind In many Christians’ minds, the curtain is still there, but it musti be removed, then we can become a Spiritual people. Adam and Eve became slaves to sin when they fell. Men andwomen need to be born again to restore the Spiritual elementin our lives. When we are born again; we have the Holy Spirit, and the curtain is removed from our minds. We must share this revelation with not only the believers but also the unbelievers. They need to be set free. That is the good news of the abundant life. Our Gospel should cover life on this earth now to be set free from the bondage in our minds. We should never let the unbliever occupy and control this earth. Christians need to take back the territory that the enemy has tried to steal. We should pray the Word of God, and we should resist the enemy in our lives. We can overcome every obstacle and affliction through speaking out the Word of God even as Jesus Christ did in the wildemess experience. The Lord Jesus Christ has already given us everythring. Redemption, healing, miracles and everything we need for life and liberty. We need o pray in faith and proclaim what the Lord has already given you, and tou rebuke the enemy, and you cast him out of your life. When Moses went up to the mountain to pray for the battle with the Amalakites, Aaron and Hur came in to lift up the hands of Moses. We are now in the place of Moses, and we are also in the place of Joshua. We should pray like Moses, and we should fight like Joshua. We must light with Spiritual Warfare. Some people pray like Moses, but they don't fight like Joshua. Without Joshua, Moses would have failed. Without Moses; Joshua would have failed. We need both. So many Christians, only surrender, And they don't fight. When we know our position, and we know what is he right thing to do from the Lord; then we can claim the victory from the Lord We need the revelation of the Holy Spirit for total victory when we pray God gave a new revelation f`rom the Lord Jesus Christ. God is not 3 million miles away. God is within you! I always feel so powerless when I go to preach. I say, “Father, why don't You come to me7” The Father said, "Why should I come upon you before you work." When you stand up and start to speak; then the power of God will come upon you. You don't have to feel His presence all of the time, but when you start to work then He will come to empower you for the work. The church is like a sailboat floating on a calm sea. Unless the wind blows; the sailboat will not move. When the Holy Spirit comes, then the church starts to move. When the wind of the Spirit does not blow; the church cannot move. The revival for the last days is the revival of the Holy Spirit. Now, I feel more closeness with the Holy Spirit than ever before. It is not by might, nor by power but by the Spirit of God. To become a minister; one should be full of the Holy Spirit. That is the most important criterion. I pray for the rhema Word of God to preach to the people. I pray, dear Holy Spirit, please give me Your rhema Word. To solve people's problems; we need faith, and we must bring the anointed, rhema Word. It is life changing, and it speaks to each and every heart. When I preach the rhema Word; I feel so powerful in the pulpit. I become a messenger of God. On the day of Pentecost by the power of the Holy Spirit, the powerless disciples became Spiritual, and they became wonderful witnesses to the whole world. When we are born again; we have the Holy Spirit, but when we are baptized in the Holy Spirit then we receive a new dimension of power in our lives. We have new fellowship with the Holy Spirit. We should have the baptism in the Holy Spirit accordig to the Bible. I enjoy speaking in other tongues now more than ever. The Holy Spirit is a person, and very sensitive. I say, “Dear Holy Spirit, you know that I am not welI educated or an eloquent speaker, but I say to Him,” Let's go." I depend on Him completely. I feel so inferior compared to others, and so I must depend on the Holy Spirit, and I am very bold because of Him. I fellowship with Him constantly, and I praise Him and worship Him always. I gay, "sptytr of the Lord; You must take charge ot` me;" In the ftittiyrq I am not afraid because I have the Holy Spirit in my life. He will never fail. His resources are endless, marvelous and wonderful. He has been my strength through much turbulence. Many people go ahead ofthe Holy Spirit. Jesus said that he only did what the Father showed Him to do. We must not go ahead of the Holy Spirit. We are in the place of receiving. He is in the active role, and we are in the receptive role. We can conquer our world through His power. When we know the right revelation about Jesus Christ, then by the power ofthe Holy Spirit; we can speak boldly. Liveswill be renewed, revived and transformed. Healing has a tremendous part in our church growth. When you deliver His healing power; it is a great hope for the people. Through the unction ofthe Holy Spirit; we can change our world and other countries. You are God's precious vessel, and He wants to use you for His glorious purposes. Let‘s all become Spiritual men and women for the glory of God!
