Saat penyerbuan ke Mekah dan penghancuran patung2 di Kuil Kabah, Muhammad memerintahkan seluruh gambar nabi2 dan para malaikat yang terdapat didinding Kabah dihapuskan. Namun Muhammad menaruh tangannya pada gambar2 Yesus dan mengatakan Hapuskan semuanya kecuali gambar2 dibawah tangan saya. (Al-Azraqi, Akhbar Makkah, Vol 1, hl 165).
