Respect Penyanyi yang bernama asli Deddy Sutansyah ini memulai karier sebagai
personel The Rollies dan terlibat dalam album-album awalnya. The Rollies adalah
sebuah group dengan ciri khas Brass Rock yang banyak dipengaruhi oleh Chicago
dan Blood, Sweat & Tears. Deddy Stanzah pernah juga bergabung dengan God Bless
sebagai pemain bass walaupun tidak sempat ikut rekaman. Selepas God Bless,
pertengahan tahun 1970an, Deddy Stanzah beserta dua koleganya yang lain, Deddy
Dores dan Jelly Tobing mengibarkan bendera Superkid. Deddy Stanzah cukup
dominan dalam membuat lagu untuk Superkid.
Posisinya disamping sebagai pemetik dawai bass juga merangkap sebagai vokalis.
