Ajaran Yesus yg disebut dlm Al Qur'an itu 'miniscule' artinya sedikit sekali. Untungnya Surat Z zUKHRUF 43:63 yg berakhir dengan sabda Yesus: 'Sembahlah allah itu adalah jalan yg lurus (as siratal mustawim) dan TAAT-lah kepada AKU (wa atiyuni!). Itu artinya lima kali lipat dari penyebutan nama Nabi Muhammad saw. Al Quran juga menggelari Isa a.s. -- yang namanya berasal dari bahasa Ibrani, Esau dan Yeshehua – dengan sebutan-sebutan yang mulia, di antaranya ‘Al-Masih’, ‘Kalimat Allah’, dan ‘Putra Maryam’. Di dalam Al Quran, Nabi Isa disebut sebagai ‘utusan yang saleh’, dan ‘pembawa Kitab Injil’. Memang masih ada ulasan lain seperti kontroversi penyalibannya, tetapi citra Nabi Isa di mata kaum Muslim adalah sebagai seorang yang mulia, yang ajarannya disempurnakan oleh Nabi Muhammad.
