(CNN) -- A suicide bomber on foot killed at least 20 people Friday in the
center of a city in northern Pakistan, police and hospital officials said.
The man detonated his explosives near a marketplace in Hangu, where both a
Sunni and a Shia mosque are located.
He may have been targeting worshippers who were leaving midday Friday prayer
services at the time, police spokesman Imtiaz Shah said. There has been no
claim of responsibility.
The attack injured 42 more people, 16 critically, said hospital spokesman Dr.
Nawab Hussein.
