this song was written referring to syd barret from the pink floyd after he left the band I think its about some sort of drugs overdose, in the beginning there is the count down as he takes the drugs, he has the lift off and he has the high where he is in space. however, it all goes wrong, and he gets taken to hospital in an ambulance (if you listen, it really does sound like an ambulance siren at the end of the song).
