Agama yang dikembangkan oleh Paulus disebut agama Kristen, dilahirkan pada tahun 40 Masehi -sekitar 10 tahun setelah dugaan penyaliban Yesus- di kota Antiokhia.
Diantara ajarannya adalah: a. Sunat tidak perlu (Galatia 5:6; 1 Korintus 7:19). b. Meninggal dunia berpakaian pengantin (tradisi turun-temurun dari Paulus hingga sekarang). c. Minuman keras halal (1 Korintus 6:12). d. Babi halal (1 Korintus 6:12). e. Darah halal (1 Korintus 6:12). f. Yesus adalah Tuhan (1 Korintus 8:6). Pengikut Paulus disebut Kristiani. Dengan uraian tersebut di atas, hendaknya para pembaca dengan cermat bisa membedakan antara agama Nasrani yang dibawa oleh Yesus dan agama Kristen yang dibawa oleh Paulus, orang yang membunuhi pengikut-pengikut setia Yesus. Maka jelas sekali, yang dimaksud oleh Yesus dalam Matius 13:24-30 di atas, tidak lain adalah Paulus. Selanjutnya para pembaca juga harus cermat membedakan bahwa agama Nasrani yang dibawa Yesus disebut agama Samawi atau agama Langit, namun agama Kristen yang dibawa oleh Paulus, tidak bisa disebut agama Samawi atau agama Langit. Kristen adalah agama bumi karena hasil olahan Paulus yang ayahnya orang Romawi dan ibunya orang Yahudi.
