Big News Network.com Friday 21st July, 2006 Two Israel Air Force combat helicopters collided near Ramot Naftali in northern Israel on Thursday night. An Israel Defense Forces spokesman said one pilot was killed. He was Major Ran Yehoshua Cochva, 37, of Beit Hanania. His funeral was held on Friday at the Kiryat Sha'ul military cemetery. Elsewhere four Israeli soldiers were killed, and five others lightly wounded on Wednesday night when they came under attack in southern Lebanon. Aheavy exchange of gunfire followed. The wounded soldiers were evacuated, under heavy fire, to hospitals to receive medical treatment. The IDF says, 'activity in Lebanese territory aims to destroy Hezbollah's terrorist infrastructure along the Israeli-Lebanese border, including the underground infrastructure of the Hezbollah terror organization which is used to store Katyush rockets.'
