Sementara di wilayah kepolisian, nama-nama yang terkait dengan pemeriksaan Gayus Tambunan hanya Kompol Arafat (5 tahun penjara) dan AKP Sri Sumartini (2 tahun penjara) yang dibawa ke pengadilan hingga vonis.
