Iranian envoy receives Taleban threats By AZHAR MASOOD | ARAB NEWS Published: Nov 13, 2010 01:54 Updated: Nov 13, 2010 01:54 ISLAMABAD: Iran's Ambassador to Pakistan Masha Allah Shakiri has received threatening letters from the Taleban movement, Arab News has learned. When contacted, one of the embassy's staffers said: "The ambassador is out of Pakistan." Pakistan's Foreign Office, however, told Arab News: "The Iranian Embassy has not informed us. We have already doubled security for the embassy and its staff residences. Earlier, Lebanon's Ambassador to Pakistan had received similar threats following which he had left Pakistan.
