Police spokesman Iskandar Hasan said on Tuesday that the new arrests were the result of interrogation of Abu Tholut. He said one of the new suspects was captured on Friday in Jakarta, while the three others were arrested on Saturday outside the capital. The 42-year-old Tholut became one of the most-wanted fugitives after bomb-makers Noordin Top and Dulmatin were killed earlier this year in a series of raids. Indonesia, a predominantly Muslim nation of 240 million, has battled extremists since 2002, when the Al-Qaeda-linked network Jemaah Islamiyah bombed two nightclubs on the resort island of Bali. -- AP [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Post message: [email protected] Subscribe : [email protected] Unsubscribe : [email protected] List owner : [email protected] Homepage : http://proletar.8m.com/Yahoo!
