Reed City, MI – According to police, 19-year-old Stephen Graham-Wright and his girlfriend, 20-year-old Kayla Grillo, have been arrested and accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 6-year old girl. Police say the child was taken from her home in Hersey Township early Sunday morning, and assaulted at another home in Big Rapids. Grillo reportedly swiped the kid that morning and took her to a get-together at Wright's home. Police say that at some point during the visit, the child was sexually assaulted. And based on the charges, one would have to assume the assault was captured on video. During a search of Wright's apartment the following day, officials seized three computers. Grillo, though related to the child, did not have permission to remove the girl from her home and did so without the parent's knowledge. She's being held without bond, charged with kidnapping. Wright has been charged with kidnapping, second-degree criminal sexual conduct, and accosting a child for immoral purposes. He remains behind bars on $1 million bond. Friends of the couple say the whole thing has been blown out of proportion. "I know Steve, he's the closest thing I have ever had to a brother," says Chandra Fuller. "I mean he tells me everything. He's not capable of it."
