State Women Development, Family and Health Committee chairman Wan Ubaidah Wan Omar said the matter would have to be discussed thoroughly before it could be implemented. She told this to Bernama in response to a suggestion made by the state government to give special incentive to polygamous men who do not hide their other marriage(s) to avoid problems for the family. Wan Ubaidah said the committee also planned to invite celebrity polygamist, comedian and Sinar FM deejay Salleh Yaakob to give a talk on Muslim marriage in the state.
