Speaking before thousands of the party cadres in a get-together at the Istora indoor stadium in Senayan, Central Jakarta on Sunday, Megawati urged her party members to recount the success story when they win the 1999 presidential elections partly thanks to the dedication of its cadres. "Now, if I ask whether you, the young cadres, have the same valor as your predecessors? Are you willing to struggle for the party without much thinking of material gain?" she said on Sunday as quoted by tribunnews.com Megawati said that she wants her cadres should also think more of how to help the people in the grassroots.
