Solusi tutup pintu, hanya apakah para eksekutif dan politikus serta kelompok radikal kanan ( Republik ) mau melaksanakannya ?, seprtinya solusi dibawah hanya jadi mimpi.
Unik juga komentar dengan kasus yg terjadi ditahun 2003, hanya lupa ditahun itu RRC belum masuk ke WTO ( CMIIW ) sur. by Thomas Heffner on October 19, 2011 - 10:17am Why our economy is crumbling: We are living beyond our means, and we are not producing enough to support ourselves. There are no restrictions on imports. There are no equalizing tariffs or a value-added tax (as other countries have). We have committed to agreements that allow other nations to control us (WTO & NAFTA). We are no longer competitive, we cannot compete with Chinese and Mexican wage rates, and we cannot compete with Japanese, German or Korean technology. Our government has totally disregarded our problems and our needs. Those running our country seem oblivious to changing our conditions to meet our needs. They are running the nation like they did when we were wealthy, self-supporting and free of debt. This is not the case now. In order to revitalize the American economy, our leaders need to: 1. Implement a timeout or get out from the effects of the WTO and NAFTA. Together with your family and friends, go to your representatives and demand they address these issues. 2. Stop our jobs from being outsourced to foreign countries and end the unfair practice of "free trade." 3. Stop the poisoning of America by demanding that imported food and medicine be rigorously supervised and controlled. 4. Implement tax reform, including the addition of a VAT, as most other countries have, and establish tariffs to put us on an equal playing field. This is a simple matter - but it is very important. Today so many are blinded by the media - we look at issues that don't matter. We are concerned with celebrity gossip, sporting events and other issues that will not matter if we don't have a free country to live in. We are being taken over economically. If we do not take back control of our country and our economy, we will lose all of the freedoms we have gained since the founding of this nation. We can make it out of this Great Recession as a nation. But to do so, we must have a plan. We must defend our economy as we defend our borders, working together to end our current class warfare. Our leaders need to think long-term and fight more for the success of our nation than the success of their next election. If voters do not see them as heroes now, let the historians correct that mistake. We cannot keep dragging on. The time for action is now. + Submitted by BalancedTrader1 on October 19, 2011 - 1:22pm. # Amen!, Thomas, especially the part about too many imports and our not producing to support ourselves. A VAT tax is surely one good idea. But there's a better answer than tariffs, which add to consumer costs when passed along and which always will be attacked as "protectionist" until we eliminate them as we've done in the past. A more direct and effective way to reduce imports is to enact balanced trade legislation as first proposed by Warrem Buffett in 2003. It would limit our annual total imports to no more than our total exports. In the first year after enactment, it would force the transfer back tothe U.S. of about $500 billion of business for U.S. producers and create several million jobs, with more to come after a short phase-in period. It would also eliminate our big annual trade deficits without needing any budget busting spending. Even China would know and agree that we can't go on borrowing to pay for imports. This bold legislation is long overdue! K.N. Davis, Jr. Former U.S Ass't Secretary of Commerce, and Former IBM Corp.
